In 2022, Athos II started producing renewable energy for the California grid. SB Energy oversaw late-stage development, construction, procurement of solar modules and other major components, project financing, engineering, and interconnection for the project. The project is owned and operated by SB Energy.

SB Energy’s Orion projects totaling 875 MWdc are currently under construction in Milam County, Texas. SB Energy selected Blattner Energy to construct the projects. SB Energy acquired the project from an early-stage developer and completed permitting, interconnection, engineering, and project financing for the projects.
Google is the anchor customer for the Orion projects, which will be owned and operated by SB Energy when they reach commercial operation in 2024.
